This book mainly talks about: a little boy named Paul lives in a poor family. At the age of nine, he went to work to save money. Later, the Red Army came to their town. Paul was moved by the Red Armys spirit of fearlessness and decided to become a red army. Chuang Tong became a cavalry after unremitting efforts, but once he was injured, he was sent to the hospital for rescue. After the injury was cured, he could only see with one eye. Later, he got a variety of diseases. Paul was caught by the disease, but he did not give up, but actively faced life. Finally, after his novel was published, he began to face his new life again.
I think Paul worked as a child to save money. When he was in the Red Army, he was optimistic about life and made a lot of contributions to the people. The spirit of being willing to help others is worth learning. Paul still persevered after his illness and didnt bow to the disease. Finally, the success of Paul reminds me of a poem "no ambition is not high, no ambition is long."
